Endless 08

Endless 08 launches their first recurring segment: a bracket elimination tournament designed to find the best anime music video of 2008. In the first match up, a handful of hyperactive anime girls go up against a Death Note AU set in a famous horror franchise.

The supernatural AIC Spirits and asread. collaboration Ga-Rei: Zero is an action series about two teenage girls drawn into a world of exorcists, with one heading down the path of light and the other heading down a path of darkness. BJ and Duffo discuss strange novelty weapons, African twins who love to say their own names, and the Marvel screenwriter with huge ambitions for the Ga-Rei franchise.

Discussions include hashing out Team Kaname vs Team Zero, trashy stage musical adaptations, and the wide range of wizard powers that apparently come with being a vampire.

In a blockbuster length episode, Endless 08 returns to the second half of J.C. Staff's Toradora! to watch from episode 14 onwards. BJ and Duffo discuss their own Kitamura style rebellious hairstyles, the strangest alternate endings in the spin-off game, and the challenge of translating the shiritori game from Japanese to English.

Endless 08 has its first big hitter with Toradora!, a J.C. Staff odd couple romantic comedy about two high schoolers with crushes on each other's best friends. BJ and Duffo watch episodes 1 - 13 and discuss the tsundere archetype, the teenage inability to deal with problems normally, and staging a wrestling show to make fun of your teacher's love life.

Staff's supernatural drama series Shigofumi: Letters From The Departed is an ambitious story about a spectral mail carrier who delivers letters from the dead to the living, but does it deliver a good anime? BJ and Duffo discuss kira kira names, controversial retracted episodes, and surprisingly decent depictions of Dissociative Identity Disorder.
